Monaghan Pool

PHA were commissioned to design a new leisure centre to serve the town of Monaghan and beyond. This new facility includes a 25m pool with separate toddler facility and fun slide, a Jacuzzi and sauna suite, gym and aerobics area, treatment centre and ancillary changing facilities. 2 outdoor tennis courts are also included.

The large pool hall space is spanned with a glu-lam structure, while the roof profile maximizes natural daylight penetration to the space.
