Tramore Racecourse Facility
PHA have recently secured planning permission for a new racecourse facility in Tramore, Co Waterford and are currently preparing tender documentation. The facility comprises a viewing stand with public facilities and corporate hospitality suites. Racetrack, jockey facilities, stables and ancillary parking are also included. Construction is due to commence in the coming months.
Curracloe Golf Resort
PHA are currently preparing master plan proposals for an exclusive golf resort in the village of Curracloe which overlooks the Wexford coastline, in conjunction with Peter McEvoy, golf course designer. The master plan includes on site hotel/leisure facilities and holiday accommodation which overlook the course and sea side beyond.
Shannon Town Centre
PHA are currently involved in a multi-phase commercial development in Shannon. The site for this development is within the Shannon Town TC Local Area Plan recently prepared on behalf of Clare Co Co by Murray O Laoire.
The first phase of this development to be lodged for planning permission is for a large retail element including a 70,000 sq ft anchor store with ancillary retail units served by a basement car park. Later phases will include additional retail areas and public plazas network forming a new street link to the existing town centre, a municipal building and a high rise hotel block to signify the scheme.
St Dominics Credit Union, Ferrybank
PHA have just completed design proposals for a new Credit Union building in Waterford. The site is located on a prominent corner in Ferrybank on the entrance to the City of Waterford. The clients brief stressed the importance of a state of the art facility to portray a positive image of the credit union in the locality. The architectural solution fuses 2 distinct forms of the banking hall and the entrance atrium to form a striking copper clad feature at the junction.
